1. Turnstile type. Tripod — cheapest and most compact, 20–30 people per minute, enough for offices and training centers. Swing gate — better looking, lets wheelchairs and cargo through, suited to business centers. Full-height — for unattended entrances and industrial sites.
2. Identification method. Card — cheap, but can be handed to someone else. Fingerprint — fails with dirty hands on production floors. Face ID — the most convenient: recognizes in 0.3 s, works with masks and glasses, face database from 3,000 to 50,000. Card + face is the most common combination.
3. Face ID accuracy. The terminal must have liveness detection — otherwise a photo on a phone screen gets through. Lighting: no window behind the terminal. The camera should have wide dynamic range.
4. Integration. Attendance data must flow automatically into your HR system or 1C payroll — otherwise the accountant is back to manual work. Ask the manufacturer about an open API or a ready-made 1C module.
5. Emergency mode. When the fire alarm triggers, the turnstile must open automatically (fail-safe). There must also be a way through during a power cut.
6. Visitors. One-time QR passes, a remote-open button at reception, and a visitor log — without these the guard ends up opening the door by hand anyway.
Bottom line: for an office of 30–150 staff the standard setup is 2 tripod turnstiles, Face ID + card terminals, 1C payroll integration, and QR visitor passes. Innoline can design and install such a system and integrate it with 1C.
